Cherry On Top Card

Share A Milkshake Card Class, Card 1

If you joined me for my Share A Milkshake Card Class on January 9, you saw me make this Cherry On Top card first! This week, I am focusing on the Share a Milkshake Bundle, which is made up of the Share A Milkshake Stamp Set and the Share A Milkshake Dies.

Usually I save the best for last, or at least the most difficult card. But, for this class, I rolled out the most awesome card first, with the cherry on top! Check out the Stack Shuffle Repeat process…

Stack Shuffle Repeat Technique

Something else that was over the top…or maybe the cherry on top, for this card was the designer series paper technique that I showcased. It is called the Stack Shuffle Repeat Technique. Watch my video for all the details.

Normally, you might choose designer series paper from the same paper pack for this technique. However, I do like to mix things up a bit. Instead of one paper pack, I chose 3: Dandy Designs (FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a $100 order), Delicate Desert and Enjoy The Journey. The color and patterns I chose worked really well together too.

Notice how the patterns rotate positions? This is part of the Stack Shuffle Repeat process.

Waffle Cones And Cherries

The sweetest thing about this card, next to the designer series paper arrangement, is the delicious looking and very realistic paper waffle cones. Did you notice they almost form a heart as they are grouped together? I used the Layering Circles Dies to create a Vellum scallop and Petal Pink layer as backdrop for my waffle treats.

You will be able to quickly and easily create waffle cones just like this with the Share A Milkshake Dies. There is very little stamping involved, since the dies really do all the hard work for you. You just need the right color cardstock (I used Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Early Espresso). And to detail your waffle cones, add like-color ink with a sponge dauber.

I think the best color for the cherries is Cherry Cobbler, of course! I used a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock to stamp on before die cutting. And watch for the tip I shared in class on lining up the stamp from the Share A Milkshake Stamp Set with the coordinating die.

Your Weekly Card Class From ME

Welcome to this week’s card class! I am featuring Stampin’ Up!’s Share A Milkshake Bundle and a popular winter sport…eating ice cream. Not sure about you, but it is a popular winter sport in my home at least…

And what could be a sweeter way to pass the winter time than by making cards (eating ice cream is optional). Your cards will be especially sweet when you pair the Share A Milkshake Stamp Set and Share A Milkshake Dies into the mix.

Share A Milkshake Bundle

The Share A Milkshake Bundle is all occasion fun. I think it is perfect for birthdays, kid’s cards, friend/thinking of you or a pick-me-up type of card. The stamp set even features a “Be my Valentine” option, so spread some love with your ice cream offering!

Country Bouquet Bonus Cards

All week long I have been playing and stamping with the Country Bouquet Bundle! My Card Class From ME featured 3 great cards, and each one was showcased in its own post. If you missed them, check out one here.

But along with the cards that made up my to-go from Maine kits, I also created bonus cards. What are bonus cards? Just additional ideas to inspire you to fall in love with the Country Bouquet Bundle!

I Love That We Are Friends

Card in purple with Country Bouquet Bundle.

My first bonus card fell heavy on the purple side…a good color for a friend card. (I have a lot of friends who just love purple!) This card features the Split Card Textures Dies from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. It was my first die cutting with the set, and it will not be my last!

I also chose to showcase some purple toned designer series paper on this card. In fact, it it FREE paper, The Favored Flowers 12 x 12″ DSP, a Sale-A-Bration pick when you spend $50 before tax and shipping. This gorgeous paper was also used in my next card….

With Love Purple Flower Card

Color swap card in purple with the Country Bouquet Bundle.

If this card looks slightly familiar, you may notice that it is identical in design to one of my original Card Class From ME cards. I love to attempt a color swap! You can see the first version (done in Evening Evergreen and gold embossing) by clicking here.

For both of my With Love cards, I did some heat embossing and used my favorite stamp from the Country Bouquet Stamp Set, the open heart outline. And of course, the beautiful designer series paper comes from the Favored Flowers FREE pack, only available with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration (ask me for more details!).

Rainbow of Hearts Slimline Card

Rainbow hearts slimline card with the Country Bouquet Bundle.

Not going to lie, this card is my favorite of all the cards I have made to date with the Country Bouquet Bundle. This one was very easy to make, too! I did a lot of punching with the Country Bouquet Punch, some cardstock and dsp.

What really elevates this gorgeous card is the stark white background topped with hearts that have been deepened with like color ink on the outer edges. I used Sponge Daubers and coordinating ink to create this fantastic look.

Polished Pink For You Card

Polished Pink easy card with the Country Bouquet Bundle.

My last bonus Country Bouquet card is extremely simple to make. Simple rectangle layers provide a backdrop for punched pieces. This designer series paper is from the 2021-2023 6 x 6″ Collection (currently on clearance!!).

The Decorative Circle Punch is quickly becoming my favorite go-to punch on cards. And after I did a quick how-to video explaining tips on using the Country Bouquet Punch, I had the hearts and flowers to use on my card. Check out my video here.

Still Time To Get My Cardmaker Collective Club Kits

While the deadline to order products in my online store to get the Country Bouquet Card Class for FREE has expired (each card class is offered for only 1 week, look for my next class now!), there is still time to get another set of card kits using the Country Bouquet Bundle.

My January Cardmaker Collective Club Kit features 4 more (and totally different!) cards with this bundle. You can see more about this offer and sign up by clicking here. Make sure you sign up for the January Kit by January 15. And if you would like to add on the Country Bouquet Bundle to your class at a discount, you have the option to do so at a great savings.

Get into the spirit of hearts and love and start creating your Country Bouquet cards now. There is never a bad time to pour your heart into a handmade card, given to someone with love.

Country Bouquet Heart Flower

Hearts And Flowers, Oh My

My Country Bouquet Heart Flower card is the third and final card featuring the Country Bouquet Bundle from my Weekly Card Class From ME! To qualify to receive 6 card kits (2 each of the 3 designs I shared during my online class) for FREE from me featuring the Country Bouquet Bundle, just place an order of $35 (before shipping and tax) in my online stamping store using Host Code NAQEENPK. When you spend over $50, you get a Sale-A-Bration item and a FREE pack of embellishments from me too.

I saved this cheery Country Bouquet Heart Flower card in Sweet Sorbet for last because it is easy and fun to make. In fact, the red heart and green leaves you see in the image above are simply punched from paper.

You read that right, punched from the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper with the Country Bouquet Punch. I love when pretty paper lines up perfectly for dies and punches. But, when the paper runs out, you will still have the Country Bouquet Stamp Set to continue to create the same great imagery for future punching.

The Amazing Country Bouquet Bundle

Country Bouquet Bundle

Along with the fabulous cards in my Weekly Card Class From ME, I have been sharing Bonus Cards (come back tomorrow to see all of those!) and this bundle is making its debut in my brand new Cardmaker Collective Club. The January class kits are designed around more hearts and flowers. Need the sign up link or more info on my new club, click here.

Gorgeous Hearts, Flowers and Paper

This fabulous Country Bouquet Heart Flower card features 3 packs of designer series paper…yes 3! The punched heart pieces come from the Country Floral Lane DSP pack. The adorable gingham paper is from the Country Gingham 6 x 6″ DSP pack. And lastly, the fun stripe paper is a freebie paper pack, Dandy Designs, yours with a $100 qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration.

The fun and whimsical paper designs also anchor all the cardstock colors in this great Country Bouquet card. The card base and Stitched Greenery Die embossed layer are Sweet Sorbet, an In Color that runs a shade red, past pink. Mint Macaron and Fresh Freesia play a minor role to the red, but are very supportive colors in this mix.

Time Is Running Out To Get Your Weekly Card Kits

I know you have been enjoying the parade of pretty cards featuring the Country Bouquet Bundle this week. But all good things must come to an end. And the last day to place a qualifying order to get these card kits is Friday, January 6 at midnight. So hop on that order, your card kits are waiting.

Need a little more incentive to fall in love with the Country Bouquet Bundle? Come back tomorrow for one last look at more cards that will inspire you!

Balmy Blue Country Bouquet

Card made in Balmy Blue with Country Bouquet

Country Bouquet, Just Wanted to Say

Not every heart card should be red or pink. Or even purple. I love to use blue where it is not expected. For this Country Bouquet card, I turned to Balmy Blue. And it pairs so beautifully with white, wouldn’t you agree?

I used the Country Bouquet Bundle for my first Card Class From ME in 2023. This bundle (or the individual stamp set and coordinating punch) will be available in the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. And it debuts at the same time as Sale-A-Bration, on January 5.

DistINKtive Two Step Stamping

Country Bouquet stamping

Did you notice all the details on the stamped heart? First, it is done by two-step stamping. This means that 2 different stamps work together to create a full image. In this case, I stamped the leaves in Soft Succulent. Next, I stamped the flowers in Balmy Blue, just fitting them between the previously stamped leaves. The end result is a heart shape!

What makes this DistINKtive? This term is registered and trade-marked by Stampin’ Up! and has to do with the subtle highs and lows cut into the stamp. When you use a distINKtive stamp, some of the image will be lighter or more opaque in nature. It is really an amazing feature!
