Sentimental Park You Are Amazing Card

Sentimental Park Card Class, Card 3

Sentimental Park You Are Amazing Card

We are on to the last card from my Weekly Card Class From ME, featuring the Sentimental Park Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. I have had so much fun with the 2 bundles, Sentimental Park and Petal Park, from the Regency Park Suite over the last couple of weeks.

And I usually save the best card for last…but you can be the judge of that. Check out the first card from my Sentimental Park Card Class here. I would love to know which card is your favorite!

Soft Suede, Blackberry Bliss & Rich Razzleberry

Did you know that browns and purples go so nicely together? When I chose this particular piece of designer series paper from the Fancy Flora 6 x 6″ pack, I knew I wanted to use Soft Suede to coordinate. Besides the card base color, I added interest with a strip of Soft Suede that is torn and sponged with like color ink.

And with Soft Suede being the great neutral color that it is, I had a lot of choices to use with it.

In The end, Blackberry Bliss and Rich Razzleberry were the perfect pair! When I tried stamping the flower image with Blackberry Bliss Ink on Blackberry Bliss Cardstock…the result was not blissful. The image disappeared on my paper.

So, I brought in Rich Razzleberry Cardstock. I think during my live cardmaking demo I called this color Blackberry Bliss’s little sister or cousin. Check out my video here.

Color Swap Card!

Every Wednesday, on my FaceBook Group Page, Positive PaperCrafters, I have a feature called ‘Who Wore It Better Wednesday’. And I take a card that I recently made and create the same recipe, but in different colors. Then, everyone gets to vote for their favorite, or who they think “wore it better”.

My Sentimental Park You Are Amazing Card was my color swap choice. I chose another design from the Fancy Flora 6 x 6″ paper pack. And this time, my color choices were Soft Seafoam, Petal Pink and Calypso Coral.

Sentimental Park Thinking of You Card

Sentimental Park Card Class, Card 2

Sentimental Park Thinking of You Card

We are on to the next card from my Weekly Card Class From ME. And this week features the Sentimental Park Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. This stamp with coordinating dies bundle is part of the Regency Park Suite.

We have been exploring this suite quite extensively. Want to see how it all started? Click here.

And just like our first card from in this weeks class, I am using the Fancy Flora 6 x 6″ Designer Series Paper pack. I also used the same Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon, which is your FREE gift from me with a $50 order using my Host Code this week.

Need to see our first card? Click here for all the details!

Designer Series Paper Layout

Did you notice the grid of designer series paper on each of these Sentimental Park Thinking of You Cards? The layout is exactly the same, even though the patterns are opposites.

With the Fancy Flora 6 x 6″ DSP pack, you will find it so easy to make great card designs similar to mine. Just pick 2 patterns that coordinate nicely together (so easy, as previously mentioned!). And cut them at the same time to make rectangles to fill your card front.

Since you are cutting 2 papers together, you will be able to mix and match the designs like I did in my cards above. Not sure what sizes you need? When you get my weekly Card Kits From ME, you will get the card recipe too. Otherwise, cut some estimates based on your preferences!

Sentimental Park, So Sentimental

There is magic to these Sentimental Park Dies, and I shared the great details in my live cardmaking demo. Need to see it for yourself? Click here to watch.

When you use the larger floral edged sentiment style die, you will also be creating slits along 2 edges that will allow you to slide the plain, oblong stitched die into. How clever is this?!?

I stamped my Sentimental Park stamps, “thinking of” and “YOU” in Calypso Coral Ink for one card, and Night of Navy Ink for the other. These stamps are separate, which make using them quite simple.

Sentimental Park Dear Friend Card

Sentimental Park Dear Friend Card

Join me this week as I take a look at the Sentimental Park Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. It is all part of my Card Class From ME. If you missed the live video assembly of my card kits, check it out here.

Here we go with another flower stamp set and die set, you may be thinking. Didn’t we just cover something similar last week?

To begin, this new bundle in the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog is a lot different than what we used last week. The Sentimental Park Bundle is a part of the Regency Park Suite. That means there are a lot more products that coordinate with this bundle!

And to get more of the details on how awesome the previous bundle, Petal Park, is, check out my post for my thoughts on the stamp set and punch by clicking here.

Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper

Last week I used the Regency Park DSP to make my Petal Park cards. That paper is sold as a coordinating item with the Regency Park Suite. But you may know that I love to change things up!

Enter in the Fancy Flora DSP instead. It is featured in an entirely different suite of products. But, with Stampin’ Up!’s amazing coordination, any designer paper matches any stamps and dies. And this class proves it!

You will find that the Fancy Flora DSP works beautifully with Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Soft Succulent, Balmy Blue, Orchid Oasis and Fresh Freesia.

Radiating Stitches Dies

Let me tell you how much I love these brand new dies by Stampin’ Up!. I LOVE the Radiating Stitches Dies! And of course I had to use them on my Sentimental Park Dear Friend Card.

These new dies are just one of many great products released for the March 2023 Online Exclusives. Shop my store to see what else you may discover that you love too!

The largest die from this set is the perfect first mat layer on an A2 card front. It measures 4 x 5.25″. And while I focused on a lot of white for this card, imagine it in any color you choose.

Sentimental Park Dies

The other dies I used on this card from my Sentimental Park Card Class feature plain Basic White flowers, die cut and glued together. I didn’t stamp them or sponge them. They are clean and simple flowers for a big impact!

I also die cut the larger stem/leaves dies from Old Olive Cardstock. And again, I kept them plain. The only actual stamping I did on this card was on the sentiment piece. I chose the smaller of the stitched edged, flower detailed sentiment dies. See more on these dies here.

Sentimental Park Bundle

Your Weekly Card Class From ME

Welcome to your Sentimental Park Card Class! This week, I am using the Sentimental Park Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. This set is part of the Regency Park Suite Collection, in the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. As part of a suite, there are a lot of amazing components that we get to explore…and we did experiment with the Petal Park Bundle just last week!

Missed my last card class? Click this link to see another card that featured the Petal Park Bundle, part of the Regency Park Suite.

The Sentimental Park Stamp Set

Just like the Petal Park Stamp Set, the Sentimental Park Stamp Set is also photopolymer. However, this stamp set is heavy on the sentiments! And not only lots of sentiments, but lots of sizes and fonts too.

You will also find some great two-step stamping style flowers in this stamp set too. And who doesn’t love flowers? Another great thing about this stamp set is that it coordinates so nicely with the…

Sentimental Park Dies

I love coordinating dies! I am able to quickly die cut my stamped images for a polished and professional look.

But these Sentimental Park Dies have a secret super-power! There is a way to layer the sentiment pieces and line up the stitched outlines by interlocking them. I shared those details during my live card making class, which you can see here.

Petal Park Dear Friend Card

Petal Park Card Class, Card 3

Petal Park Dear Friend Card

We are on to the last card from my Weekly Card Class From ME, featuring the Petal Park Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. It is always fun to play with flower stamps and bright, pretty colors…

Speaking of bright colors, Mango Melody, the main color in my Petal Park Dear Friend Card, is pretty bright! I usually avoid this color yellow, as I find it hard to use. But in this card, it just seemed natural and easy. Maybe this color really is growing on me….

Want to see another card from this class in a much calmer color scheme? Click here.

Mango Melody Yellow

I stand by my earlier thoughts on this bold color choice. Like the rest of the cards from this weekly class, I worked with the coordinating palette from the Regency Park 6 x 6″ DSP pack. And there are a few Mango Melody selections to choose from!

Fortunately for me, there is also some Night of Navy to calm down the overwhelming yellow. I love how the patterns and colors came to play for this card. It was simple to pick a few designs that went well together. From there, I chose to flag the ends of different lengths with the Banners Pick A Punch.

Petal Park Punched Flowers

There are soooo many ways to use the Petal Park Stamp Set and Petal Park Builder Punch to create gorgeous flowers. During my live card class, I shared 3 of them. For this third card, I used only 1 color: Mango Melody.

Petal Park Flowers, Option 3

For this Petal Park Dear Friend Card, I chose Mango Melody Cardstock to stamp my flowers on. I stamped only the outline stamp in Mango Melody Ink onto my cardstock. This gave me the perfect tone on tone look.

After my stamping was complete, I used the coordinating Petal Park Builder Punch to get perfect flowers!
