Sweet Little Boxes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Have you seen the Sweet Little Boxes<\/a> from the Sweet Talk Suite<\/a>? They remind me of the boxes that Conversation Candy Hearts came in. But the best part is, you get to decorate them and fill them with whatever you like that fits!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the Sweet Little Boxes<\/a>, you can add food, since they are food safe. They are small in stature, measuring 3-1\/2 x 2-1\/2 x 5\/8″. I think they would be perfect for chocolate coated candies or fruit flavored yums, but you get to decide for yourself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pre-Scored, Fold and Adhere<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the things I like best about these adorable boxes is that they come pre-scored. To start, give each of the fold lines a good bend. Work with your box to see what it will look like once it is assembled. This is a lot like creating a pizza box, if you have ever seen that done!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just make sure that before you remove the paper that exposes the included<\/em> sticky tape, you have the box ready and in position. The bottom end flap tabs should be folded in. I find it easier to work with one side of tape at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ready to add some fun to your assembled Sweet Little Box<\/a>? You can see that the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper<\/a> is perfect for this job. In fact, it is difficult to pick a pattern!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I cut my paper with my Paper Trimmer<\/a> to 2-3\/8 x 3-3\/8″. If you cut 2 papers this size, you can decorate both the front and <\/em>the back of the box. This is easier than trying to wrap the paper completely around the box, and just as effective without the hassle of all those corners to work around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I (Heart) Tags<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Next, you will want to make a tag to add to your Sweet Little Box<\/a> for easier gifting. You will find the perfect tag die in the Sweet Hearts Dies<\/a>. I cut mine in my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine<\/a> using White Cardstock<\/a>. Do you see the tiny hole at the top of the tag? This will come in handy later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And don’t forget to decorate your tag too! The Sweet Conversations Stamp Set<\/a> has images of hearts with those candy sayings. I used the largest heart stamp, added Real Red Ink<\/a> and stamped on Blushing Bride Cardstock<\/a>. Lastly, I die cut my heart using the Sweet Hearts Dies<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real Red Ribbon<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now it is time to add the finishing touches to our Sweet Little Box<\/a>. First, I wrapped about 20″ of Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon<\/a> around my box and tied it in a bow. If you prefer to secure your ribbon, I suggest adding a couple of Mini Glue Dots<\/a> beneath the ribbon on the front and back before you make your bow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After I adhered my die cut heart to my tag, I added a small piece of Bakers Twine<\/a> thru the small hole at the top of the tag. Then, I tied the twine around my red ribbon and trimmed the twine ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
