Silly Goose Conversation Bubbles Card Class, Card 1
Silly Goose Thanks Card
It’s a new week, and that means it is time for a new Card Class From ME! This week I am combining a couple of products that could stand alone. I had intended to only use the Conversation Bubbles Bundle, but decided to pair in the Silly Goose Stamp Set for a fun collection of cards.
Speaking of the Silly Goose Stamp Set, I talked about the option to choose red rubber or photopolymer style stamps when you purchase it. You will find more info in my blog post here, along with a list of other stamps sets that have this new option feature.
Silly Goose Coloring
The focal point of this Silly Goose Thanks Card is our handsome goose. First, I stamped him in Memento Black Ink. The bits of green grass comes from an image in the Silly Goose Stamp Set. I used Old Olive to stamp the ground on either side of my goose’s feet.
Something that I really appreciate about this Silly Goose Stamp Set is that minimal coloring is required. In fact, I only needed 3 Stampin’ Blends colors to add the smallest amount of ink.
I used a combo of both the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight on Silly Goose’s legs, feet and beak. Next I added a bit of Smoky Slate to his body to give my goose some shadows. And for the thanks sign, I chose Pool Party.
Conversation Bubbles for Goose Thoughts
While pairing in the Conversation Bubbles Bundle to the Silly Goose Stamp Set, I was able to add some fun thoughts to my geese this week. There are a lot of choices in the Conversation Bubbles Stamp Set to choose from. I picked a couple that coordinated with the thanks sign that my goose is holding up.
Each of the Conversation Bubbles stamps has a Conversation Bubbles Die that will work well with it. And the real fun begins when you start to mix and match these bubbles. I was able to easily create some bubble layers for my Silly Goose Thanks Card.
Watch my video demonstration here to see how these Conversation Bubbles Dies will cut both an outline as well as the inner bubble image. I also shared a tip on using like color ink and a sponge dauber to remove the white outer rim when die-cutting a stamped Conversation Bubble image.
