Irresistible Blooms Thank You Card

Irresistible Blooms Card Class, Card 1

Irresistible Blooms Thank You Card

Join me this week as I take a look at the Irresistible Blooms Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. It is all part of my Card Class From ME. If you missed the live video assembly of my card kits, check it out here.

What is so special about another flower stamp set and dies, you may be wondering. To begin, this brand new bundle is part of Online Exclusives, debuting on March 1. There will be products that will not be in any catalog. You will need to find them in the online store, which is something new and fresh.

And to get more of the details on how awesome these new products are, check out my post for my thoughts on the stamp set and dies by clicking here.

Perfectly Penciled

While each of my cards from the Irresistible Blooms Class is very neutral in color (notice that I used Basic Gray for this card!), I also shared some more colorful options during my live demo, using different cardstock panels and designer series paper from the upcoming Hello, Irresistible 6 x 6″ DSP.

For the offered card kits in the mail with a qualifying purchase with me this week using Host Code AKJJUXXN, I have chosen a very neutral designer series paper pack, Perfectly Penciled, to work in. These fun patterns are easy to add color to if you have the mind to do so!

Basic Gray

Basic Gray is elegant, and not always somber, as this card proves. I stamped my flower and leaves images in Basic Gray Ink before sponging on color to add a nice splash of brightness. My color palette includes So Saffron, Blushing Bride and Cajun Craze for the flower, and Old Olive for the leaves.

But of course, there are a lot of other colors the flower could be! And I love to play with color, so expect a another color swap card coming soon.

Your Weekly Card Class From ME

Welcome to your Irresistible Blooms Card Class! This week, I am using the Irresistible Blooms Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. The Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set

Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set

The Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set is all about flowers. In fact, 2 of the images are large floral designs that you can use in a variety of ways. This set also boasts some great greenery and a splotch stamp (one of my favorite kinds!).

I love when font in sentiments is fun and playful. The sentiments in this stamp set really fit this description. Take a look at the adorable curves and lines that make up these words for yourself!

The Irresistible Blooms Dies

Irresistible Blooms Dies

The Irresistible Blooms Dies are so much fun to use! While you have your basic flower and leaf die cut options to match the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set, there is so much more in store.

The large circle with dotted vine-like lines actually cuts into your paper leaving the image you see above. Don’t expect to get a die cut circle out of this one! And the long dotted twig-like die leaves an intricate array of lines that almost defy a solid layering piece once die cut. You have to see them in action…check out my live cardmaking demo here.

Silly Goose Hello Card

Silly Goose Conversation Bubbles Card Class, Card 3

Silly Goose Hello Card

We are on to the last card from my Weekly Card Class From ME, featuring the Silly Goose Stamp Set and Conversation Bubbles Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. Watching these 2 silly geese greeting each other with a fist bump made me wonder what they would be saying to each other.

And since my secondary focus this week is the Conversation Bubbles Bundle, I only needed to look for the perfect words for our geese! Hi and Hello seem perfect, don’t you think? This is just 1 of 4 geese images in the Silly Goose Stamp Set. Need to see my last Silly Goose Card? Check out the previous card class here.

The Silly Goose Scene

Nothing creates a more perfect sky scene than the Into the Clouds Embossing Folder and Balmy Blue Cardstock! And for a very limited time, the Into the Clouds Embossing Folder is FREE with a qualifying Sale-A-Bration purchase of $50 (before tax and shipping). But this offer ends February 28. After that, expect to buy this folder, instead.

And for a delightful flowery field, I chose a selection of the Rain or Shine Specialty DSP. This gorgeous paper is found in the January-April Mini Catalog, and that also means it is available for a very limited time as well.

Hello And Hi

All week I have been choosing Conversation Bubbles Stamp Set sentiments for my Silly Goose Cards. And I found the perfect pairing, Hello and Hi for these 2 geese in my Silly Goose Hello Card.

How fabulous that each of these word bubbles has a die from the Conversations Bubbles Dies that not only die cut each word, but work in opposite bubble thought directions. This is perfect for each goose on my card to have a salutation greeting!

Silly Goose Celebration Card

Silly Goose Conversation Bubbles Card Class, Card 2

Silly Goose Celebration Card

We are on to the next card from my Weekly Card Class From ME, featuring the Silly Goose Stamp Set and Conversation Bubbles Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. With the word “yay” in the sentiment phrase bubble, I just knew this card had to be sweet and fun.

And our goose is ready to party, complete with party hat and balloon. This is just 1 of 4 geese images in the Silly Goose Stamp Set. Need to see my first Silly Goose Card? Check out the previous card class here.

Silly Party Goose

Just like the first card in this week’s Card Class From ME, this goose stamp from the Silly Goose Stamp Set needs very little coloring. Something that I personally love! Check out my video demonstration here.

Again, I used the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to color the legs, feet and beak of my goose. A little Smoky Slate helps to give the goose’s body some shadows to break up all the white un-colored space.

And party colors like Bermuda Bay and Poppy Parade bring a lot of brightness to this image on my card. With the addition of a little 2022-2024 In Color Baker’s Twine, my balloon really “pops”!

Simple and Sweet Silly Goose

While I created this Silly Goose Celebration Card in So Saffron and Sahara Sand, you could easily make this same card in lots of different colors! Just add a splash of designer series paper to the background. I used Happy Forest Friends DSP for the soft yellow pattern it supplied.

Along with the Conversation Bubbles Dies for my sentiment, I also used the Deckled Rectangles Dies in layering sizes. Any layering dies will work, so feel free to use whatever you have on hand!

Silly Goose Thanks Card

Silly Goose Conversation Bubbles Card Class, Card 1

Silly Goose Thanks Card

It’s a new week, and that means it is time for a new Card Class From ME! This week I am combining a couple of products that could stand alone. I had intended to only use the Conversation Bubbles Bundle, but decided to pair in the Silly Goose Stamp Set for a fun collection of cards.

Speaking of the Silly Goose Stamp Set, I talked about the option to choose red rubber or photopolymer style stamps when you purchase it. You will find more info in my blog post here, along with a list of other stamps sets that have this new option feature.

Silly Goose Coloring

The focal point of this Silly Goose Thanks Card is our handsome goose. First, I stamped him in Memento Black Ink. The bits of green grass comes from an image in the Silly Goose Stamp Set. I used Old Olive to stamp the ground on either side of my goose’s feet.

Something that I really appreciate about this Silly Goose Stamp Set is that minimal coloring is required. In fact, I only needed 3 Stampin’ Blends colors to add the smallest amount of ink.

I used a combo of both the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight on Silly Goose’s legs, feet and beak. Next I added a bit of Smoky Slate to his body to give my goose some shadows. And for the thanks sign, I chose Pool Party.

Conversation Bubbles for Goose Thoughts

While pairing in the Conversation Bubbles Bundle to the Silly Goose Stamp Set, I was able to add some fun thoughts to my geese this week. There are a lot of choices in the Conversation Bubbles Stamp Set to choose from. I picked a couple that coordinated with the thanks sign that my goose is holding up.

Each of the Conversation Bubbles stamps has a Conversation Bubbles Die that will work well with it. And the real fun begins when you start to mix and match these bubbles. I was able to easily create some bubble layers for my Silly Goose Thanks Card.

Watch my video demonstration here to see how these Conversation Bubbles Dies will cut both an outline as well as the inner bubble image. I also shared a tip on using like color ink and a sponge dauber to remove the white outer rim when die-cutting a stamped Conversation Bubble image.
