Petal Park Card Class

Cards from the Petal Park Card Class.

Your Weekly Card Class From ME

Welcome to your Petal Park Card Class! This week, I am using the Petal Park Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. This set is part of the Regency Park Suite Collection, in the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. As part of a suite, there are a lot of amazing components that we get to explore…and we will, together, over the next couple of weeks.

The Petal Park Stamp Set

Petal Park Stamp Set

The Petal Park Stamp Set contains 11 photopolymer stamps. This set is a almost completely two-step stamping. There is just one tiny stamp that is not part of a two-step set up, and it consists of some itty-bitty background spots. With two-step stamping, you can add color quickly and move on to other parts of your project!

There is another great thing about this stamp set too, it works with the Petal Park Builder Punch!

The Petal Park Builder Punch

Petal Park Builder Punch

I love punches, because they are quick and easy to use. No need to drag out the die cutting machine and sort thru your die collection. Grab this punch and go!

With the Petal Park Builder Punch, you will have a collection of both flowers and leaves to use on your projects. You may stamp and punch out matching images, or just punch cardstock to layer together to create beautiful flowers. The punch allows you to get 4 different images at once, 3 flowers and 1 leaf.

Live Card Making Class On Monday

Every Monday at 8pm EST, I am live with your weekly card making class on my FaceBook page, The Maine Stamper. I create 3 beautiful cards and share tips and techniques along the way. This class serves as your tutorial when you receive your card kits in the mail and need to put them together.

Get Your Card Kits For Free

Cards and card kits with the Petal Park Bundle.

Yes, FREE. You will receive 2 each of 3 card designs (for a total of 6 card kits!) when you place an order of $35+ (before tax and shipping) in my online stamping store using Host Code AKJJUXXN thru March 10, 2023. I will mail the card kits on the Monday following the live class.

Want more details about what is in these kits? Check my blog post here for more info.

Get A Bonus Gift For FREE Too!

When you bump your order to $50 (before tax and shipping), I will send you the card kits AND a full pack of the embellishment, Adhesive Backed Milky Dots (now SOLD OUT online!) that I used on my sample cards, for FREE. I have a limited supply, and they are going out with card kits in the order that your online order using my Host Code is received.

If I run out of these great embellishments (order quickly to get yours!), I will substitute another embellishment of equal value in its place.

Irresistible Blooms Hello Card

Irresistible Blooms Card Class, Card 3

Irresistible Blooms Hello Card

We are on to the last card from my Weekly Card Class From ME, featuring the Irresistible Blooms Bundle by Stampin’ Up!. While it is always fun to play with flower stamps and dies with bright, pretty colors…

Wait a minute! My Weekly Card Class From ME has a lot of black, white and gray colors. Not the usual collection of inspiring hues associated with floral cards.

In fact, this Irresistible Blooms Hello Card doesn’t even showcase a flower from the Irresistible Blooms Bundle. Need to see my last Irresistible Blooms Card? Check out the previous card class here.

Beautiful Black

This card certainly has a lot of black and very little other color involved. It is actually hard to notice some of the details of this card from the picture. But when you hold this one in your hands, it is more obvious that there are a lot of interesting layers here.

The Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper and Black and White Gingham Ribbon are perfect for this black and white themed card. I also added a small dash of pink from the Loose Frosted Dots Embellishments.

Irresistible Blooms Dies

Irresistible Blooms Dies

It’s time to talk about the awesome Irresistible Blooms Dies again! I used the round die that cuts into your paper and leaves an elegant trail of lines and dots in my first card from this online class. If you missed it, you may read more about it here.

This time, I chose to play with the long, narrow die that leaves behind a string of lines and dots that somehow magically hold together. It really is quite unbelievable! My video demonstration shows the die cutting, clean up and use of this intricate piece. Watch my video here.

Ever Lovely Black and Pink

While my black die cut may not show up the best on camera from the black on black card, it certainly has some flair when added to a pink layer! How fantastic is my color swap card here? Even the new Basics 3D Embossing Folder shows up better with Blushing Bride.

Irresistible Blooms Hooray Card

Irresistible Blooms Bundle Card Class, Card 2

We are on to the next card from my Weekly Card Class From ME, featuring the Irresistible Blooms Bundle, by Stampin’ Up!. This exclusive bundle was just released to the public today as part of a new Online Exclusive offering.

And just like our first card from this class, I am using very neutral colors. Need to see my first Irresistible Blooms Card? Check out the previous card class here.

Basic 3D Embossing Folders

Perhaps you really noticed the embossed cardstock on my Irresistible Blooms Hooray Card. Each of my cards from this class showcases one of three of the newly released embossing folders. As part of my gift to you with your qualifying order in my online store this week, I am sending you embossed panels of cardstock, along with other things! Get more details here.

What makes these Basic 3D Embossing Folders so different? First, they are sold as a 3 pack! This is the first time Stampin’ Up! has offered embossing folders like this. And while they are the regular 4 x 6″ size, they are also the 3D style, leaving deep impressions in your cardstock for lots of texture.

TIPS For Using 3D Embossing Folders

Here are a few helpful things you may want to remember when using 3D Embossing Folders:

A Splash of (Old) Color

While my card is mostly black and white, there is also a splash of color…and one of these colors may be a little familiar. Recently, Stampin’ Up! announced some returning retired colors, and Pretty Peacock is featured on my flower.

I found that a great way to use the stamp images in the Irresistible Blooms Stamp Set is to heat emboss them. So that is just what I did. I used White Embossing Powder on colorful cardstock for easy add-ons to my card.
